Write to the editor about corrections, suggestions for new guides, or links that no longer work.

How to reach us

Email the editor at editor at mashshare dot net (written out to reduce spam; replace the words with the usual symbols). We read every message and reply to most within a few working days. There is no contact form, so nothing you send is stored on this website.

Useful things to include

  • The address of the guide you are writing about.
  • What you expected to see and what you actually saw, for example a dashboard label that has changed.
  • Your WordPress version and the plugin you use, if the question is about a specific setup.
  • Screenshots with personal data, tokens and secrets removed. Never send an access token, app secret or password.

Suggesting a guide

If you have a sharing, share count or link preview problem that none of our guides covers, describe it and we will consider it for a future guide. We prioritise questions many site owners share, and we cannot offer one-to-one consulting.

What we cannot help with

This is an independent publication. We cannot provide support for the MashShare plugin or its add-ons, issue or recover licences, process refunds, or answer questions about purchases made from the store that used to operate at this address. For past payments, contact the payment provider or card issuer you used. For current plugins, use the support forum linked from the plugin's directory listing.

Press and permissions

You may quote short passages from our guides with a link to the source page. For anything more, such as republishing a whole guide or using our diagrams in training material, write to the editor first and tell us where it will appear.

Response times and scope

The site is edited by one person, so replies can take a few days during busy periods. Corrections to published guides take priority over general questions. If your question is about an urgent problem on a live site, such as an admin screen that no longer loads, start with our plugin troubleshooting order, which resolves most cases faster than waiting for an email.

Privacy of your message

We use your email only to reply and to improve the guide you wrote about. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your message. See the privacy policy for details.
