Hannah Voss edits every guide on mashshare.net. She came to it from years of looking after WordPress sites for small publishers, where share buttons were a constant small source of trouble: slow scripts, counters stuck at zero, previews showing the wrong picture.

Background

For most of her working life Hannah maintained WordPress sites for small publishers, local newsrooms and a handful of online shops: updating plugins, fixing what the updates broke, and explaining to owners why a share counter had reset or a link preview showed last year's logo. She has installed, configured and removed a long list of share plugins, including MashShare, and has rebuilt share rows by hand when a plugin was the problem rather than the solution.

How she tests a guide

  • Every step is carried out on a working WordPress install before the guide is published, and again when it is reviewed.
  • Network settings, token screens and preview tools are checked against the network's own current documentation, which each guide links in its sources list.
  • Where a network's documentation cannot be reached directly, the guide links an archived copy of the official page and says so.
  • Figures without measured data are labelled as relative or illustrative; no invented statistics.
  • Each guide shows the month it was last reviewed, and that month changes only after a full re-check.

What she will not publish

No sponsored reviews, paid links or affiliate arrangements. No claims that a plugin, detector or label proves something it cannot. The provenance guides, such as what to do when you are accused of posting AI content and checks for AI images that hold up, explain why evidence of process counts for more than any score.

mashshare.net is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the MashShare plugin or its former developers; the name reflects this domain's history. Hannah has no connection to the plugin's former developers and cannot provide support for it; the MashShare record explains what happened to it.
